Information and Computation Science
This major consists of two directions which are scientific data and scientific calculating and is to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with a solid foundation of mathematics and statistics, to master the main knowledge and skills of computer applications, and who are familiar with the main theory of modern data analysis, methods and techniques. Data science direction focuses on modern business, finance, enterprise data analysis, based on mathematical theory and statistical knowledge analysis modeling, to use computer technology and computing methods to solve practical problems. Computing the scientific direction focuses on scientific and engineering computing problems to establish mathematical models, combine with mathematical theory analysis, construction, algorithm and algorithm analysis.
